Christmas has arrived, and if you procrastinated on buying gifts for your loved ones or need to make a last-minute trip to the grocery store, consumers will not have many shopping options on Thursday, Dec. 25, this year.
That's because while some restaurant chains will remain open on Christmas, most grocery and retail chains, in addition to banks, post offices, and the stock market, will be closed on the holiday.
Included in that group is Target, as the company said in a news release last month, its stores will be closed on Christmas Day this year. Stores will reopen under their normal hours on Friday, Dec. 26.
